OneNote: The Digital Age Notebook – November 6, 10:00 – 11:30 AM EST

Course Description: I designed this course for participants to create a Microsoft OneNote notebook and to use the features of OneNote, including inserting photos, emails, and other electronic files. We will examine how OneNote works with other products, how to record and play back audio and video files, and to collect and organize information in a OneNote notebook. We will cover the many uses of OneNote for projects, meetings, documentation, subject matters, and include built in templates to use for agendas, minutes, to-do lists, and other OneNote Items. We will explore how Microsoft’s new web browser, Edge, works with OneNote to save, edit, and annotate web pages.

Course Outcomes/Deliverables:  Upon completion of this course, clients will be able to:

  • Create and edit a OneNote Notebook,
  • Insert photos, emails, text boxes, and other items,
  • Record and play back audio and video files,
  • Use OneNote collaboratively with others,
  • Add divisions and pages to notebooks,
  • Incorporate templates for design and functionality, such as business meeting notes, education lectures, projects, agendas, and other forms,
  • Organize notebooks with titles, pages, and color.
